1 Sheet puff pastry
1 lg Onion; chopped
100 g Smoky bacon; (4oz)
100 g Butter; (4oz)
200 g Field mushrooms; sliced
2 lg Potatoes; sliced using
1 Crushed clove of garlic
2 ts Chopped fresh thyme
Place the pastry on a greased baking sheet. Saut off the onion and
bacon and small bits of garlic until softened. Saut off the
mushrooms in the butter and pour the bacon and onion over the pastry.
Lay the potato slices down either side of the pastry and pour the
sauted mushrooms down the centre.
Bake for 25 minutes in a preheated oven at 180C/350F/gas mark 5.
